Vox Lumens is an installation featuring multi-channel film, surround sonic sound-scape, and the creation of an environment that experiments with light, sound, space and human perception.

Rush and Burnett-Rose have collaborated on all aspects of Vox Lumens from conceptual development, through to construction and completion. Burnett-Rose has directed and edited the film and sound components, while Rush has designed and implemented the sculptural and structural elements with technical assistance from Sam Laidlaw and Geoff Noble.

Burnett-Rose has composed, produced and performed the music in collaboration with musicians Tom Francis, Nathan Torvik, Martin Jaenecke, and David Bowater, openly fusing her art and music practice together for the first time.

Now a permanent resident of New Zealand, Burnett-Rose has previously exhibited her video installation work widely in Europe, and around the world, in institutions such as the Frankfurt Kunstverein in Germany, The Imperial War Museum and The ICA in London, The Museum of Modern Art in Rio, The Centraal Museum in Holland, to name but a few. As part of the UK Arts Council sponsored group show her work  'Pilot', was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2007.

Though she has shown in solo shows, and worked in collaboration with other artists from time to time, her work has predominantly featured in group shows alongside artists such as Bill Viola, Marina Abramovic, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Krzysztof Wodiczko, Annika Larsson, Joseph Beuys, Fiona Banner, Vanessa Beecroft, Chris Burden, Chris Cunningham, Carlos Amorales, Tacita Dean
